About Me

I am a Licensed trauma counselor, and have been seeing clients in the greater Grand Rapids area for about nine years. I work primarily with individuals and specialize in anxiety disorders, relational stressors and complex PTSD, grief, spirituality and identity formation. It is one of my greatest joys to walk alongside those who are hurting, searching for belonging and meaning, and desiring to make sense of their story and themselves.

Through narrative, compassion focused, mindful and attachment-based theories I work with my clients to identify current stressors and past pains contributing to their present struggles.

Together we will navigate the terrain of your story with compassion, care, and honor; working with courage and guidance to heal, find purpose, and break free from unwanted behavioral patterns. I believe there is goodness and beauty within all of our stories, and I would be honored to help you find yours.

When I’m not seeing clients you can typically find me chasing my two toddlers, reading a good book, and appreciating life with loved ones. I enjoy traveling, writing, coffee, houseplants, exploring new foods, and curating life with beauty.
